South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue is seeking a motivated Health and Safety Advisor to join a dynamic team within a challenging and rewarding organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide health and safety support to managers across all functions.
2. Develop procedures and guidance on health and safety matters.
3. Conduct risk assessments and advise on risk control measures.
4. Deliver health and safety training.
5. Perform workplace inspections and accident investigations.
6. Conduct audits of the health and safety management system.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or an equivalent qualification, or be willing to work towards it. Significant relevant experience in occupational safety and health is required.
