Assistant Medical Secretaries are responsible for the day-to-day management of referral and treatment administrative processes and report to the Patient Services Team Leader regarding compliance with the Referral to Treatment Access Policy (RTT).
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing referrals
2. Booking appointments
3. Handling telephone queries
4. Overseeing full utilisation of clinics
5. Providing general administrative support to the wider team
