We're seeking a Team Member to help deliver the service of our Commercial and Wedding Clients here at the beautiful Putteridge Bury side- someone who will help a small dedicated team to ensure all our guests receive great service.
Putteridge Bury is currently undergoing a transformation from a University Campus to a Commercial Site and this is a very exciting time for a Team Member to come on board and bring in their own ideas and experiences to this dedicated team. We are still part of the University so therefore enjoy the benefits of a great work balance and staff benefits.
As a member of the team you will carry out varied duties, including setting up of rooms for our conference and wedding guests, table/bar service and light cleaning duties.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and team members will be expected to deliver food to table, cover our bars (including the provision of alcohol) and interact positively with our guests to make their visit to the house a memorable experience.

Due to the nature of our business evening and weekend work should be expected as a key element within the role.

This is physically demanding role which will involve the lifting and movement of tables and equipment around the house in order to set up for individual guest requirements.

What you’ll bring:

1. A motivation to serve our guests to the standards of the Venue in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner.
2. Help in the set up of rooms as per the required standards, including moving of furniture.
3. Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a bigger team.
4. Have an eye to detail and offer suggestions of improvements to make.
5. Take part in courses to further your knowledge and gain qualifications.
