Operations Administrator
Sittingbourne (Relocating to Ashford end of 2025)
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:30
We are looking for a reliable and organised Operations Administrator to support our day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and has previous experience in construction, telecoms, or contract hire.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Plan and coordinate contract lifts: quotes, crane scheduling, field staff bookings, and inductions
* Raise purchase orders and support invoice processing
* Assist with telecoms project bookings and documentation
* Maintain training records and book medicals/training for staff
* Process DBS and BPSS checks; support vetting paperwork
* Manage vehicle administration: monitor checks, update service records
* Arrange accommodation for site teams
* Support new starter onboarding: folders, PPE, IT, and admin setup
* Prepare weekly/monthly reports on staff utilisation and equipment hire
* Provide document management support for Health & Safety Manager
* Oversee utility renewals and head office admin
* General support to Operations Manager, Directors, and Sales Team
About You/What you'll bring:
* Confident multitasker with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and within a team
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and systems including:
* Previous experience in a construction or contract hire environment is a plus but not essential
* Full handover and training provided
* Prior experience with systems that can manage vehicle management / purchasing and invoicing / hire agreements and quoting OR a quick learner
