A leading client in the Rail Industry is recruiting for a Scheme Interface Manager Asset Protection to work on a permanent basis at their offices based in Manchester. \n \nRole Description \nManage multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others to deliver the client requirements. \nAttend progress meetings and chair project reviews.
\nWork with the Sponsorship organisation to ensure requirements are defined and met \nManage stakeholders. \n \nDeliverable \nAccountable for delivery of low complexity projects or parts of complex projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality, in accordance with the GRIP or PACE, applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation and procedures where appropriate. \nSupport the project Sponsor in preparing and maintaining definitions of the project requirements.
\nCoordinate multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan. \nIdentify and monitor project risks (threats and opportunities), plan and implement mitigations to them, and respond to other issues that affect the project. \nManaging stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
\nManaging project reviews at appropriate points throughout the project lifecycle which will inform governance decisions of projects by providing evaluations of progress, performance, risk, contingency, and continuing relevance. \nEstablish, and implement where necessary, protocols to change the scope of projects and update configuration documents as required. \n \nSkills/ Experience: \nEssential \nEducated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
\nGood stakeholder engagement and communication skills. \nSuccessful relevant experience including experience of contracting and project delivery. \nKnowledge and experience of project budget management.
\nGood evaluation and decision-making skills. \nProject safety management and Health and Safety legislation knowledge. \nKnowledge of safety cases in support of projects
