Pilgrims Europe are currently recruiting for a NPI Technologist based at our Enniskillen site, working a 5 day onsite working model. The successful candidate will work with our Senior Process Technologist working as part of the R&D team to ensure the successful launch of the new products in line with customer critical paths. Responsible for the execution of customer and category development, from factory trials through pre-launch and launch phases, ensuring delivery of quality, technical and commercial objectives, through cross functional collaboration with category, customer, and site stakeholders. Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring products are representative of the manufacturing process and the product concept approved by the customer in terms of technical and quality standards, and for confirming operational costs. Responsible for ensuring key milestones are met in line with the Critical Path for each project within the Recipe Professor stage-gate system. In conjunction with all stakeholders, prepare diligently and lead site visits, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, process development, packaging development, OPEX to ensure all aspects of product delivery. Ensure factory trial process is fully supported by all site stakeholders through diligent planning, preparation, and communication pre and post trials and throughout the project lifecycle. Work in conjunction with customer Product Development Technologist, NPI Manager and site stakeholders to deliver on time product launches. To manage agreed cost of launching a product i.e. micro, nutritional, sampling & trials, including ingredients. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage workloads, to include leading multiple projects and meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Confidence to represent Pilgrims Europe and its' values from a Product and Innovation perspective, developing and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organisation. Ability to gain and maintain trust and respect of customers, peers and suppliers. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Respected qualifications in the relevant disciplines Work Experience within the FMGC environment Be comfortable within a meat environment - comfortable to conduct organoleptic assessments/taste panels of meat products HACCP and Food Safety / Hygiene knowledge Strong organisational skills and a team player A strong blend of can do and right first time with a tenacity for problem solving Driving Licence
