Kirknewton Primary School and ELC is a non-denominational school serving the village of Kirknewton and the surrounding community. The school sits within the Balerno High School cluster. At present, the total school and nursery roll is 202 pupils. The school has well developed and mutually successful and supportive partnership links with local community groups and businesses. We have earned a good reputation within the community and we are very well supported by the wider parent forum. Kirknewton Primary are seeking an enthusatic pupil support worker to join the hardworking and committed support team in the school. This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.
