To strengthen its operational team, the school is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Officer.
Role Overview
The Data Officer will oversee the collection, management, and analysis of student performance data across the school.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and maintaining the school MIS system
* Coordinating data collection cycles across departments
* Producing progress and attainment reports
* Supporting internal assessment tracking
* Analysing exam performance data
* Preparing reports for senior leadership and governors
* Supporting timetabling data processes
* Ensuring data accuracy and integrity
* Managing statutory census returns
* Training staff on data systems and reporting tools
The role requires precision, analytical thinking, and the ability to present information clearly to leadership.
Data & Assessment Structure
The Data Officer works closely with the Deputy Headteacher (Academic), Exams Officer, and Heads of Department to ensure accurate monitoring of student progress.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar)
* Strong Excel and data analysis skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
