A lady living in Kelso is looking for a kind and reliable Personal Assistant to join her small team. This role mainly involves providing gentle support in the early evening around 4:00pm, with occasional opportunities for morning cover during holidays or sickness.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Assist the client with changing into nightwear and the safe removal of her Farrow wrap
* Provide respectful, supportive care in the client’s home environment
* Build and maintain a positive relationship with the client
* Ensure professional standards are upheld at all times, including limiting mobile phone use to emergencies only
Person Specification
* Cheerful and positive in outlook
* Patient, sensitive, and understanding of individual needs
* Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
* Able to work well both independently and as part of a small team
Terms
* Hours: Evening visits around 4:00pm for 30–45 minutes, Monday to Sunday (alternate weekends can be considered). Occasional morning shifts may be available for holiday or sickness cover
* Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour
* Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
* Probationary Period: 3 months
* Appointment subject to satisfactory checks
