We are currently recruiting for a welder for our client based in Ashford. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding based on project needs Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials Measure, cut, and prepare metal components Inspect welds for accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications Carry out repairs, modifications, and fabrication tasks as required Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure safe operation Follow all company safety procedures, risk assessments, and PPE requirements Work collaboratively with fabricators, engineers, and site teams Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Welder or similar role Strong understanding of multiple welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Stick) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Competent in using hand and power tools Good attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work Strong awareness of health and safety regulations Relevant welding certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, coded welding) preferred The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
