Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for an Performance Manager to join the team on our Kent County Council contract based in West Malling, Kent.
The purpose of the role will be to monitor, report and govern the service and quality management deliverables of the contract, ensure that obligations are met, and contractual requirements such as KPI’s are monitored and reported on. This includes communicating to the client and customer to ensure that reports are comprehensive and clearly comment on contractual position.
The role provides general administrative support to the Leadership Team, as such this requires continuous engagement with operational teams, providing coaching and education on the requirement of contract deliverables and associated mechanisms, and assisting the development of operational improvement planning to better deliver the contract requirement.
You’ll:
1. Establish a performance framework
2. Implement Performance Management principles
3. Lead a Continuous Improvement programme
4. Establish a process to ensure the Operations team’s understanding and adherence of contract obligations is held consistently throughout the Project.
5. Lead the Business Administration, Training and Resourcing function to ensure the provision of general support and the governance of business reporting and communications, as support to the Leadership Team. Manage the recruitment and onboarding of employees and manage the tracking and delivery of agreed employee training.
6. Establish and report on daily reports, dashboards in line with contract requirements
7. Lead and manage a team for strategic planning of all internal labour deliverables
8. Manage Supervisors /ppm team and to ensure ALL routine maintenance is aligned with SFG20
9. Supply chain partners managed to ensure all monthly deliverables are met within contract requirements
10. Routine maintenance completed within SLA
11. Joint meetings with Operations Manager and leadership team
12. Provide weekly reports monitoring compliance and performance in line with contract obligations
13. Attend client monthly report performance meetings and input to monthly client reports
14. Demonstrate you have effective control and governance systems in place to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
15. Produce reports periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
16. Coordinate and facilitate asset management reviews.
17. Participate in compliance discussions with our compliance manager ensuring appropriate preparation has been made to present our compliance position
18. Ensure all reports are presented in a professional agreed format.
19. Prepare reports for the Senior Operations Manager and external regulatory bodies for appropriate audits.
20. An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
