Nursery: Children 1st @ Clowne, Clowne Campus, High St, Clowne, Chesterfield S43 4JY

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time 40 hours

Salary: £8 per hour

Hello, I’m Michelle, the Nursery Manager at Clowne.

With over 15 years of experience in the early years sector, I’m proud to lead a passionate and dedicated team. We feel truly privileged to be part of our children’s early development and growth.

Supporting our local community is very important to us. We regularly visit a nearby residential home for dementia patients and actively fundraise for various local charities, nurturing a strong sense of community and belonging in our children.

We love helping our children connect with nature through our wonderful outdoor spaces, which provide a rich learning environment full of opportunities to explore, play, and discover the natural world.

About the role:As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

* Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
* Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
* Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

Essentials:

* Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
* Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
* are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
* are patient and friendly
* By applying for this vacancy, you have given your consent to share your information with the employer on this advert in order for your grades to be confirmed on the HM Government Personal Learning Record Service. Where grades can not be confirmed, certificates will need to be provided by the applicant
* Maximum of 40 minute drive by either car or public transport

* A true love for child development and care
* Able and willing to work in a team
* Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
* High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
