As Production Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the integration of new products into production, ensuring tooling, fixtures, and layouts are optimised
Reducing variability in manufacturing through standardised work methods
Identifying and executing Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency
Training production staff to maintain compliance and quality standards
Conducting PFMEA and post-build reviews during NPI phases
Maintaining high health and safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance
As Production Engineer, your experience will include:
Previous experience as a Production Engineer or in a senior production role within an assembly environment
A HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering
Exposure to lean manufacturing and quality methodologies such as Six Sigma
Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor)
A practical, innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Computer literacy and a dynamic, hands-on approach
