The People Administrator plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, absence tracking, and responding to HR queries. The role ensures accurate records are maintained, supports with reliable reporting, and acts as a first point of contact for the people team, helping us to maintain an efficient and compliant organisation.
This is a part-time, office-based role, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4 hours per day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm).
The salary for this position is up to £14,041.60 per annum (£26,328 full-time equivalent), dependent on experience.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the People function, providing accurate and timely HR administration across the employee lifecycle. This includes preparing contracts and offer letters, maintaining employee records, and acting as the first point of contact for HR queries.
You’ll support with payroll administration, absence and attendance tracking, probation reviews, and long-service milestones, while also assisting with training, benefits administration, and coordination of People Team meetings. You’ll also produce HR reports and support line managers with documentation and note-taking during investigations.
The role involves regular engagement with employees through weekly People Pop-Ups on the Factory floor, providing guidance, answering queries, and escalating issues where needed.

Skills and Experience Required
Essential
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Previous administration experience
Desirable
* Previous experience using HR systems such as Cezanne, Sage, Workday or BambooHR.
