Vehicle Technician Required for Family-Run Garage
Location: Addlestone, Surrey
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break, no weekends)

Our client, a well-established independent garage in Addlestone, Surrey, with 25 years at the same location, is seeking one full-time and one part-time Vehicle Technician (or potentially two full-time depending on experience and salary expectations) to join their close-knit automotive workshop team.

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
6. Perform high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs, including MOT failure rectifications.
7. Carry out cambelt, clutch, and wishbone replacements with precision.
8. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
What Our Client is Looking For:
10. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a garage.
11. Experience: Proven ability to handle basic repairs like wishbone replacements, with reliable and consistent workmanship.
12. Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
13. Bonus: MOT Tester certification (Class 4) is advantageous but not essential.
