Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 3 students.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
* Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
* Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to meet the needs of each student.
* Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and self-esteem.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of primary education and the national curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
* Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
