An exciting opportunity has arisenwithin the Nursing Directorate of the Suffolk and North East Essex ICB for a BusinessSupport role for SNEE Safeguarding.
The post will support the SNEESafeguarding team by providing excellent administrative service and will alsocover for any other administrative duties within the Nursing Directorate asrequired.
The successful candidate will be ahighly motivated, dependable, and flexible person with excellent IT skills, numeracy,communication and interpersonal skills and who is capable of working to a highstandard and adapting to constant change within a sensitive and confidentialrole.
The role is in a busy, challenging anddemanding environment where you will be expected to adapt quickly and use yourinitiative to deal with a variety of challenges.

Main duties of the job
Toprovide efficient and confidential administrative support to the NursingDirectorate SNEE Safeguarding Team
Toprovide efficient and confidential administrative support with regard toenquiries from staff, patients, and clinicians.
Toco-ordinate diary events and arrange meetings including room bookings, sendinginvitations, agendas and associated paperwork and presentations for allmeetings as required.
Ensureadministration work and correspondence is promptly dealt with, being aware ofsensitive and contentious issues and information. Monitor the progress of anyaction and deadlines to be met. This will include liaising with managers,system partners, clinicians, investigating officer, reviewers, and partneragencies.
Toestablish and maintain office systems and administrative procedures to achievehigh standards of clerical services within theteam.
Tomaintain effective communication and working relationships within the ICB,Social Care and partner agencies to promote effective joint working.
Toreceive, screen and sort incoming emails, dealing with correspondence,including summarising information and advising on priorities/course of action.
Dealing with morecomplex routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner,communicating relevant information to the correct area, referring to others as appropriate.

1. Significant administrative experience including initiating and maintaining office systems
2. Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and with sensitive and confidential information.
3. Implementing and maintaining electronic filing systems
4. Arranging meetings and diary management
5. Knowledge of a range of full administrative procedures
6. Knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
7. Understanding of Data Protection Legislation
