HGV 1 Driver - Bridgwater
You must have valid HGV Class 1 licence
New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.
We are currently recruiting for Temp to Perm Full Time HGV Class 1 drivers for our depot in Bridgwater. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages.
Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts and Start Times available:
* 2:30 - 4:30 Thursday to Monday
* 3:00 Wednesday - Saturday
* 3:00 Saturday - Tuesday
* 3:00 Tuesday - Saturday
* 13:00 Wednesday - Saturday
* 11:30 - 14:00 Saturday - Tuesday
* 13:00 Saturday - Tuesday
* 3:00 Friday - Tuesday
* 4:30 Monday - Friday
* 11:00 - 13:00 Tuesday - Friday
* 14:00 Thursday - Sunday
* 2:30 - 3:30 Friday - Monday
Day pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
* Saturday £18.71
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
* Saturday £21.38
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
* In date DIGI and CPC card
* Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
* Willing to work weekends.
* Motivated and open to learn new skills.
* Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
* 6 months continuous Driving
Your role:
* Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
* Prepping vehicles for delivery.
* Completing vehicles checks.
* Refuelling vehicles.
* The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
