We are continuing to grow our Australian presence with more prestigious brands joining us in coming months.
Our team is Australia wide and our head office and warehouses are located in Banksmeadow plus there is currently a 3PL facility supporting us.
Due to our growth we have created this opportunity for an experienced Warehouse and Operations Manager to take ownership of this part of our business.
You will be supported by an amazing team who are well established in their roles and would love to have someone help them to continue to develop their skills and knowledge.
Some core elements of the role include:
* Taking full ownership of the warehouse operations, including mentoring and training the team.
* Taking ownership of the supply and demand management process, ensuring stock levels are maintained in line with agreements and company requirements.
* Living and breathing work health and safety and in conjunction with your team, HR and our WHS partner – constantly seeking ways to continually improve and ensure the safety of our team members.
* Managing all aspects of our stock shipment including import processes and dangerous goods requirements.
* Onboarding new brand partners into our warehouse and operations work processes.
* Staff recruitment and management activities as needed.
* And last but definitely not least – helping us with an upcoming relocation !
What you will bring:
* You absolutely must have worked in a warehouse / logistics management position before
* You ideally also have a solid understanding of supply chain and demand planning.
* You definitely have worked in any of FMCG, Beauty, Fragrance or similar warehousing environments. This is fast paced with a large number of SKU’s.
* Ideally you have also worked with dangerous goods and you are passionate about WHS.
* You love leading and mentoring your team – always striving to help them grow.
* You constantly seek opportunities to do things better, more effectively, safer, smarter but you are a realist and know you need to work within company constraints.
* And without a doubt you bring a “can do” attitude where you are willing to get in and work right alongside our team if that is what it takes to get the job done.
This is an onsite role with 5 days on site. We are in Banksmeadow and our relocation is to a site just down the road. Please be sure that this is a suitable location for you.
This is a permanent position and a competitive salary will be based on your experience. We also provide our team members with access to discounted and free products after a qualifying period.
