The Hull KR Foundation is moving into a new period of delivery with an exciting new strategy driven by the community. In 2027 we will be celebrating 20 years of delivering across our communities and as an organisation we are setting ourselves up to deal with the increased demand. The past three years have seen Hull KR secure a historic treble and provides the Foundation a fantastic platform to engage more people and organisations to work towards securing more impact and changing lives. Our new strategy will drive greater focus to our organisation and provide partners with the opportunity to connect where we can support the delivery of local and regional outcomes. The team are ready to embrace a new era for the Foundation and adding in this significant role is one of the pieces needed to move forward.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management
* Lead the delivery of The Foundation’s current programme portfolio
* Develop and implement appropriate programme / project management processes which support the Foundation team to deliver impactful work, including managing team capacity effectively
* Work with the team’s senior managers to ensure projects achieve KPIs and are delivered on time and on budget
* Support the Foundation’s Chief Executive in managing relationships with funders and partners
Programme Delivery
* Take personal responsibility for the delivery of allocated externally-facing programmes of work to achieve KPIs, aligned with The Foundation’s mission and strategy. This will include: project planning, risk management and stakeholder management
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
* Develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation processes, ensuring these contribute to continuous improvement of our work
* Produce regular impact reports appropriate for their audience, including trustees, funders and other key stakeholders, including ensuring the necessary qualitative and quantitative data is collected and shared
* Work with the Chief Executive to ensure that the impact and stories of our programmes are powerfully communicated through our comms channels
Organisational Development
* Support the Chief Executive to fundraise for new and existing programmes including drafting grant proposals, building relationships with funders, designing budgets, and writing reports
* Work with the Chief Executive to develop new programmes of work which support the achievement of the organisation’s mission and goals
Leadership and team working
* Take a leadership role within the Foundation team, modelling our values: caring collaboration, joy, expertise, innovation, and proactivity & determination
* Line manage a talented team to get the most impactful results from their work, developing individuals to their fullest potential
* Work collaboratively and in an agile way with colleagues, respecting the diverse experience we each bring to the team, and facilitating a developmental culture
* Be an active champion of equality, diversity and inclusion
* Deputise for the Chief Executive where required
