• Interim Senior Commercial Finance Manager - 12 Month FTC

The Interim Senior Commercial Finance Manager, will be a true partner to senior stakeholders, bringing clarity to marketing investments, championing data-led decision-making, and owning budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across customer functions. You’ll lead Senior Finance Analysts and contribute to wider commercial initiatives during a key growth period for the business.
The Commercial Finance Manager will:
– Partner with the Customer and Marketing teams to deliver smarter growth strategies
– Own and optimise the marketing budget, including monthly forecasting and accruals
– Drive insight into the performance of smarter growth initiatives and customer investments
– Translate complex financial scenarios for non-finance audiences to support decisions
– Lead delivery income and subscription (Smartpass) forecasting and strategy
– Support monthly performance reviews, working closely with FP&A and data insight teams
– Line manage a Senior Finance Analyst and mentor a finance graduate
– Contribute to cross-functional projects and implement improvements in ways of working
You will need:
– Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with post-qualification experience
– Previous experience in retail, FMCG, ecommerce, or similar data-rich environments
– Strong background in managing marketing budgets and performance insight
– Confident communicator who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders
– Advanced Excel user with experience building robust financial models
– Leadership qualities and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
