Personal Assistant - 12 Month Secondment

Join Barclays as a Personal Assistant on a 12‑month secondment supporting senior leaders within Business Banking Technology. In this fast‑paced and highly visible role, you’ll provide professional and confidential support to up to four Directors, ensuring seamless coordination of their day‑to‑day activities. You’ll play a vital part in the smooth running of leadership operations, from managing complex diaries and arranging both national and international travel to supporting expense reconciliation and stakeholder communications.


Responsibilities

* Manage executive calendars and respond to meeting invitations and requests in a timely manner.
* Plan and arrange travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation, ensuring efficient and timely travel for executives.
* Anticipate the needs of executives, prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of day‑to‑day administrative matters such as expenses, filing systems, office supplies, annual leave records, distribution list management and organisational tasks.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality in all work, supporting seamless coordination of leadership operations.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally supporting multiple senior leaders or Directors.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Experience working within large and complex organisations, navigating multiple stakeholders and priorities.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Concur for travel and expense management.
* Superb attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality, accurate work.
