Join our Revenues and Benefits Team as a Business Administrator Apprentice and gain real-world experience while studying towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. We offer 1 day a week dedicated to study time, monthly workshops at Frontier House Business Centre (M50 3SR), full support from experienced colleagues and mentors, and a chance to build your skills and confidence in a professional environment. Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this can only be used for certain roles and this campaign does not qualify. Responsibilities
* Part of a friendly, supportive team helping to manage customer accounts and provide excellent service.
* Deliver high standards of customer service and support across Revenues and Benefits work areas.
* Assist with daily administration tasks to support team objectives.
* Work collaboratively with other services to ensure customer needs are met.
* Respond to customer enquiries in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability and confidence to deal with a wide range of customers over the phone and work well with other team members and services
* Effective organisational skills
* Excellent written English
* Ability to work accurately to deadlines
* Ability to work flexibly to support the team's core work and other objectives
* Experience of using office IT applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
* This apprenticeship is designed for individuals at the start of their business administration career. Those with significant prior work experience in administration or a Level 4 (or above) qualification in business or a related subject may not be eligible for funding and therefore cannot apply.
