Salary £25,185 - £25,989 per annum | Permanent, Part Time, various hours | Various locations across Chorley and West Lancs |

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focussed and digitally confident individual to join our library teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Library Assistant, you'll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service. This includes:

1. Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information.
2. Supporting in the planning and delivery of events (. author events, class visits)

You will be appointed to a library base(s), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required. Hours of work range from 7 to 37 hours per week. Please see attachments for rotas.

Posts available in Chorley and West Lancashire area are:
Coppull Library – 21hpw
Euxton & Eccleston Libraries – 14hpw
Parbold & Burscough Libraries – 10hpw

Our ideal person will be welcoming and friendly, have a love for reading and be passionate about sharing this. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be able to work with a range of stakeholders and be able to deliver a customer focused service.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
