Press Brake Programmer
Location: Nottingham NG6
Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00,Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer to join our team, working on Triumph Controls machinery. This is a hands-on role, producing high-precision sheet metal components primarily for Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and program CNC press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal components according to precise engineering drawings.
Select appropriate tooling and materials for each individual job.
Conduct quality checks using verniers, micrometres, and gauges to ensure parts meet tight tolerances (±0.025mm).
Work with a wide range of metals including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, titanium, nickel alloy, copper, and brass.
Produce custom, made-to-order components, including a high volume of one-off items.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
Proven ability to operate and program CNC press brake machines.
Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings.
High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work.
Solid understanding of various metal types and forming techniques.
Basic computer skills for programming and job tracking.
