Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning in a primary schools across South Liverpool for February 2026. The successful candidate must have education-related qualifications and experience working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Requirements:
1. Relevant education-related qualifications (HLTA status preferred)
2. Experience supporting teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2
3. Ability to lead lessons in the absence of a teacher
4. Strong behaviour management and communication skills
5. Commitment to safeguarding and child development
Role & Responsibilities:
6. Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons
7. Lead whole-class, group, and one-to-one sessions as required
8. Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress
9. Assist with assessments and classroom management
