Position Summary:The Oracle HCM Functional consultant will be responsible for the strategy, design and deployment of the enterprise-wide Oracle HCM Cloud Solution. The role will be responsible for leading the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, like Core HR, Absence, Talent management, and Recruiting cloud etc. As a key member of the HCM transformation team, the functional consultant will be responsible for aligning Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities with organisational goals and HR Operational needs. The applicant will have a proven record in end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, extensive functional expertise across multiple modules.
Contract – 6 months (with a high possibility to extend)
Location – Waterside (UB7 0GB)
Hybrid – 3–4 days on-site
Pay – attractive daily rate (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define the end-to-end architecture for Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, ensure integration across modules and with other enterprise systems.
2. Oversee configuration design for Oracle HR modules, such as Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent Management, and Learning Management.
3. Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
4. Conduct gap analysis and solution design sessions to address HR business needs and improve processes. Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows, system design specifications, test plans, and user training materials. Collaborate with technical teams on data migration, integrations, security, and reporting.
5. Manage project deliverables, resource planning, status reporting, and risk management.
6. Stay current with Oracle Cloud HCM roadmap updates and advice on adoption of new features or quarterly releases. Lead and facilitate design workshops, conduct user functional testing, and provide user training sessions to ensure a seamless transition of the build system.
7. Serve as a liaison between business users, HR leadership, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure that the solution meets the organisation’s goals and user expectations.
Qualifications:
8. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
9. An advanced degree is preferred.
10. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle HR systems implementation, configuration, and support is required.
11. In-depth knowledge of Oracle HR modules including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, and Learning Management is required.
12. Experienced in leading full-cycle Oracle HR implementation projects, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of successful projectpletion and process improvements.
13. Strong understanding of HR business processes,pliance frameworks, and best practices.
14. Working knowledge of specialised Oracle tools like HDL, HCM extracts, OTBI, and Fast formulas is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, andmunication skills.
15. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships effectively.
16. Oracle HR certification or equivalent is a plus.
