We have an exciting opportunity for an Immediate Justice Charge Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis to act as a dedicated decision maker and ensure all appropriate referrals are received.
Using your experience, you will collaborate with partner agencies and ensure Out of Court Resolutions (OOCRs) are implemented appropriately whilst keeping the victim at the centre of your approach. You will review all incidents that are suitable for intervention and promote these schemes to officers of all ranks, providing advice to them.
What you’ll be doing
* You will be responsible for ensuring all officers understand Immediate Justice and OOCR processes.
* You will work collaboratively with our service provider ensuring smooth running of the project.
* You will reduce the number of inappropriate cases submitted for prosecution and identify early opportunities to use OOCRs.
The must haves
* You must hold a GCSE (Grade C/4 or above) in English Language and Mathematics, OR equivalent qualification, OR have experience to this level.
* You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel force-wide as required.
* You must have experience working with external agencies to deliver OOCRs.
