We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to manage, develop, and optimise our business intelligence reporting. In this role, you will be the go-to person for all things Power BI, working across departments to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
This is a hands-on position, so we are seeking someone comfortable managing the full reporting lifecycle — from connecting to raw data sources, through modelling and transformation, to creating dashboards and training colleagues. The role offers the opportunity to shape how we use data across the business and to make a visible impact on decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, maintain, and continuously optimise our existing suite of business-critical Power BI reports.
* Develop new reports, dashboards, and KPIs to meet business requirements, balancing multiple priorities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, errors, and inconsistencies quickly.
* Manage user access and security roles, ensuring appropriate levels of data access.
* Identify opportunities to integrate data from other business systems (e.g., finance, CRM, operational platforms) into a single reporting portal.
* Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, advising on the best use of Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
* Support self-service adoption by designing reports that are intuitive and training/advising users where needed.
* Provide input on the design and optimisation of data sources, including SQL databases, spreadsheets, or cloud platforms.
* Keep up to date with Power BI features and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.
* Familiarity with Airtable or similar lightweight database tools.
* Understanding of financial data and processes (helpful for reporting on budgets, sales, or KPIs).
* Awareness of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
* Experience with Power Automate or scripting for workflow automation.
* General understanding of data governance and security best practices.
