Accounts Assistant | Permanent | Part or full-time | Darwen-based | Up to £30,000 Your new company I am currently working with a small retail organisation based in Darwen, who are actively recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team. For the perfect candidate, there can be flexibility with part or full-time. The company has excellent values and a great retention of staff. They are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of the team. Your new role Working in a rounded Finance role including elements of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Payroll. Processing invoices, statement reconciliations and payment runs. Payroll for a small number of employees: end to end, including processing pay and regular reports producing. Manage stock and ordering processes. Managing utilities and making amendments where necessary. Collaborating with a team of 8 people to ensure all elements of day-to-day finance are completed. All general administration work as and when required. What you'll need to succeed Experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or a similar role. Proactive and hard-working with a can-do attitude. Proficiency working on finance systems, Sage experience is desirable but not essential. Competency with Excel.
