Overview
We are advertising for a 6-8 sessions GP Partner. Due to a partner stepping down, Nightingale Valley Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated partner to join our team. We care for over 14,800 patients from our main surgery in Brislington and branch surgery in St Anne's. Our current team includes 5 partners, 8 salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs and a nursing team. We have strong management, administrative and reception support for our clinicians.
About Us
Nightingale Valley Practice has a long-standing reputation for clinical teaching and education, with 4 GP trainers hosting trainees. We also teach medical students and provide regular education sessions for staff. We are a high achieving sessional research practice and among the top regional recruiters in recent years. We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our practice with ongoing initiatives, including the availability of e-bikes for home visiting.
As part of Connexus PCN we are committed to collaborative working with neighbouring practices. We lead on DES contractual projects. Our loyal and friendly team are passionate about high quality patient care and prioritise staff wellbeing. Through the PCN we jointly employ an ARRS team including 4 FCPs, 4 social prescribers, 4 mental health and wellbeing coaches with 2 MH Practitioners, an AP pharmacist and 4 clinical pharmacists alongside a prescribing hub team, a care home/home visiting paramedic lead and 3 care coordinators.

Job Description and Responsibilities
The GP Partner will be expected to undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, with opportunities to diversify clinical work with minor operations, teaching and research participation. They will be part of a partnership focused on continual quality improvement and able to drive change to achieve the highest standard of care for our practice population. They will also contribute to and develop business-related activities alongside the other partners, including expanding our existing portfolio of work and seeking new opportunities.
