Case Worker - Child Sexual Exploitation (Boys and Young Males)

The Case Worker will undertake one-to-one work with boys and young males under 18 supported by Catch22’s Pan Merseyside Missing & Child Exploitation Service.

* Build relationships and develop referral pathways specifically for boys and young men to increase access to the service.
* Upskill professionals to recognize indicators and risk factors for boys and young men at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation.
* Conduct one-to-one work with vulnerable children and young people, in partnership with Children's Social Care.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather intelligence on CSE issues and trends.
* Utilize safeguarding protocols proactively to share information and protect children from harm.
* Provide educational awareness within local authorities, including placement providers, education sectors, parents, and young people.
* Develop and maintain relationships with referring agencies to ensure appropriate and regular referrals.
* Manage caseloads, assess young people's needs, and develop intervention and vulnerability plans within set timescales.
* Plan and deliver interventions following Catch22 policies and local authority guidance.
* Create materials and deliver activities to build resilience and safety among young people.
* Work with Local Authorities and Safeguarding Children’s Boards to establish strong multi-agency safeguarding partnerships.
* Record all interventions, contacts, and correspondence accurately in Management Information Systems.
* Complete monitoring reports to track progress against outcomes, KPIs, and funding requirements.

Minimum requirements include extensive experience working directly with young people with diverse support needs, expertise in case management, safeguarding procedures, and partnership working. The role requires a full driving license and access to a car, with flexible working hours including evenings and weekends. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
