The role
As General Manager, you’ll be the leader of the venue and the flag-bearer for the brand. You’ll oversee all departments, lead and develop your management team, and take full ownership of performance – from guest experience and team culture through to compliance and commercial results.
You’ll be trusted to run the venue as if it were your own, with support from Head Office when you need it.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the venue day to day and setting the tone for service, culture and standards
* Managing, coaching and developing your AGM and department managers
* Owning rotas, payroll, staffing levels and labour efficiency
* Delivering consistently brilliant guest experiences and handling feedback and reviews
* Keeping on top of compliance: licensing, H&S, fire safety and training
* Managing P&L performance, budgets, stock, suppliers and margins
* Ensuring the venue always looks, feels and sounds on brand
* Building strong relationships with regulars, neighbours and local businesses
* Making sure the team feels proud to work here – and proud of the space they run

* You’re calm under pressure and confident making decisions
* You care just as much about people and culture as you do about numbers
* You’re organised, hands-on, and not afraid to get stuck in
