Logistics People are looking for Refurbishment Technician Engineers to join our team.
Location: Stafford, IForce
Working Hours:
* Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 Shifts Available
Position: Refurbishment Technician Engineers
Role Overview: As a Refurbishment Technician Engineer for Logistics People, your role will include various duties such as maintaining and improving the upgrade process, ensuring quality and efficiency, supporting team development, and adhering to safety policies.
* Lead and support the refurbishment team, developing skills and training team members.
* Manage activities within the process, driving productivity and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and security policies.
* Interact positively with colleagues and communicate effectively between shift managers and team members.
* Identify training needs, organize training sessions, and maintain training records.
* Collaborate with management and escalate issues as needed.
* Ensure work accuracy and quality, maintain housekeeping, and organize resources.
* Address quality issues, seek continuous improvement opportunities, and conduct team meetings.
* Ensure PPE compliance, conduct accident investigations, and follow SOPs.
* Address hazards, produce sound booth lists, and fairly allocate work.
* Deal with external customers and attend 121 meetings with the line manager.
Qualifications:
* Experience in electrical and mechanical repair work
* Proficiency with power tools, inspection, and fault finding
* Pat testing certification
* Skills in product recovery and repair, fault feedback, and documentation
* Ability to set up external technical relations and maintain PAT and compressor equipment
* Experience with office software; Word, Excel, etc.
* Team management experience is advantageous
