Job Description:
Job Title: Science Tutor with SEN Experience
Location:
Job Type:
Temporary, Part-Time hours
Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring in Science subjects to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised lesson plans to accommodate students' learning styles and needs
* Assist students in understanding complex scientific concepts and theories
* Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational professionals regarding student progress
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Demonstrated expertise in Science subjects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field
Experience:
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Science subjects, particularly with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of Science curriculum and teaching methods
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEN
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or Special Education
* Additional training or certification in teaching students with SEN
Working Conditions:
* Work with students in an educational setting
* Possibility of working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
