We are seeking an experienced and dependable Behaviour Manager who will play a vital role in maintaining a respectful, supportive school culture that enables all students to thrive.
As Behaviour Manager, you’ll lead on promoting and maintaining high standards of behaviour across the school. Working in close partnership with teaching staff, senior leaders, and families, you'll support students in making positive choices, overcoming challenges, and removing barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
* Respond to incidents and support students in real time
* Collaborate with Heads of Year and the safeguarding team
* Maintain accurate records and analyse behaviour trends
* Build strong, supportive relationships with students to foster their social and emotional growth
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate professional who brings both expertise and empathy to the role.
Essential Qualities:
* Proven experience in a behaviour or pastoral support role (ideally in a secondary school)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
* High levels of emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy
* A balanced approach that is both firm and fair, with the confidence to challenge and support students
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
