What will this role involve?

As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the store management team, driving turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles. You will keep a close focus on customer service and be an ambassador of the Ryman brand.


What will you be responsible for?

* Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning about the business and your role, and sharing this knowledge with customers
* Confidently and professionally handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention
* Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by Store Management Team and the business
* Engage with customers enthusiastically, establish customer needs and help them to purchase by applying knowledge of products and highlighting relevant promotions and upselling
* Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems when required
* Promote high visual merchandising standards; ensure store housekeeping standards are high and maintained
* Acquire a high level of product knowledge and continue to self-develop that knowledge
* Recognise and act upon opportunities to increase the value of sales by offering appropriate additional items
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies
