We are seeking Oracle Systems Engineers with hands-on functional experience of Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Fusion HCM modules. You will have the opportunity to become fully Fusion certified in this flexible hybrid working environment. Our client is able to offer both permanent and fixed-term contract opportunities for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities to replace, upgrade and improve people and system processes by providing subject matter expertise (SME), guidance, advice, and input into architectural, technical, design and implementation solutions.
* Document change, continuous improvement, projects-based and BAU support requirements & system specifications with a high degree of accuracy, interfacing with key stakeholders to clarify, refine and validate.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with Clients, 3rd Party suppliers, and System Implementers.
* Work with, and support, Senior Systems Application Engineers, team leads, and other D&I teams and stakeholders to support and lead on testing activities ensuring issues are recorded/resolved.
* Communicate information at the right level to drive decisions and actions.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed
Essential:
* Demonstrable Oracle eBusiness R12 or Cloud Fusion Human Capital Management modules experience covering some or all of the following: Recruiting, Global HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Learning, Workforce Planning, Work-life solutions, Time and Labour, and Payroll.
* Ability to co-ordinate work across diverse teams, to develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, showcasing excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to document requirement and functional specification documentation for system enhancements and regulatory changes in support of clients.
Desirable:
* Demonstrable ERP systems experience including but not limited to Oracle systems (SAP, WorkDay, PeopleSoft).
* Knowledge of Financial modules’ processes and ways of working
* Experience of working within a shared service environment.
* Demonstrable capacity to lead on minor projects, releases, and change assignments
* PL/SQL, JavaScript, BI Publisher, similar.
* Good understanding of project & delivery methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, ITIL.
* Extended knowledge of integration components such as PenServer, HMRC.
