The post
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences wishes to recruit a 1.0 FTE Graduate Research Assistant to join a small, focussed team funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Evidence Synthesis Programme and tasked with conducting responsive, high quality systematic reviews to support pressing public health and health service priority issues. The successful applicant will join Isca Evidence, a multidisciplinary team of systematic reviewers, epidemiologists, statisticians, health economists, information specialists, clinical experts and members of the public, in producing responsive, high-quality outputs under strict deadlines.
As part of this post, you will have an important role in supporting academic teams in the end-to-end management of evidence syntheses with real-world impact.
About you
You will be a graduate trainee with a relevant degree in a field related to health services research for example medical sciences, statistics, or economics, and a demonstrated career commitment to working in health services research. Working within Isca Evidence you will support evidence synthesis projects for the Department of Health and Social Care.

The starting salary will be from £33,482 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.
