We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our busy finance department in Larbert.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to lead a dedicated team and play a key role in our finance operations.

About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day supervision of our Accounts Payable Clerks, ensuring that supplier invoices are processed efficiently and accurately. You’ll be the go-to escalation point for supplier queries and ensure suppliers are paid promptly through regular weekly payment runs.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in purchase ledger who also has the ability to lead and support others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Managing and mentoring a team of Accounts Payable Clerks
* Overseeing the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
* Handling escalated supplier queries professionally and efficiently
* Coordinating weekly payment runs to ensure timely payments
* Supporting process improvements and maintaining strong internal controls
* Setting and upholding high standards across the team

What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable, ideally in a high-volume, high-value environment
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills both for yourself and your team
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
