Care Assistant
Location: Archers Park Dementia Care Home – Archer Road, Farringdon, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, SR3 3DJ
Schedule/Hours: Bank shifts
Salary: £12.71 - £12.96 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
* Support residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments.
* Serve meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy.
* Maintain a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment.
* Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing.
* Act as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences.
* Support new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
