Providing specialist legal advice and representation to employers, HR teams, and in-house counsel on the full spectrum of UK employment law issues. With a focus on advising organisations manage people-related legal risks, resolve disputes effectively, and make informed strategic decisions about workforce matters. The practice is led by a Chambers and Legal 500 recognised Partner with over 20 years' experience, who has played a key role in shaping this highly regarded team. You will be joining a collaborative national group of more than 60 employment specialists across offices in England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, working together on a wide range of complex and strategic matters. The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 5 years PQE to join the growing Employment team in the firm's London office. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse and high-quality caseload, working closely with Partners and other Senior team members. The work will span both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a primary focus on representing respondents in employment tribunal claims. You will be advising employers on a wide range of issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, restructurings, and redundancies. Additionally, supporting the firms high-regarded clients with employment-related documentation, such as drafting consultancy agreements, settlement agreements, staff handbooks, and providing guidance on outsourcing contracts and restrictive covenants. With the clientele being widely diverse, ranging from small start-ups to large national corporations, such as; household named retailers, public funded companies and many more domestic and internationally organisations. Alongside this, you'll have the chance to build and develop your own profile, with a strong emphasis on business development that will contribute to both your success and the team's growth. You'll also play a key role in supporting junior fee earners, providing supervision and guidance to help them thrive.
