We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leaderwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
7B is a 30 bedded ward specialising in Colorectal and urology Surgery. We provide a variety of diverse and complex treatment to both Colorectal and Urology patients. As a Member of the team you will work on both the ends of our Ward.
We are committed to providing the best care possible to all patients.
Applicants must demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills on a day to day basis. The successful applicant must deputise for the ward manager in their absence.
We offer various training that will enhance your leadership skills.
The post will require participation on weekends, bank holidays, days and nights for 24 hour nursing cover.

Main duties of the job
The role of the band 6 requires you to be able to support the ward manager in leading an established team of nurses in providing high quality care to our pre and post op patients. with the additional skills of:
Must work both days and nights, weekends and bank holidays and allocate staff according to skill mix,
Ensuring staff are completing daily quality control tasks, Audits.
Excellent Communication and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
Ensure high quality care is given each and every shift.
Must lead by example and role model to junior staff
Work as per NHS standards
