Responsible for supporting a team of approximately 10 agents within the Data Handling area to enhance performance and ensure IT tickets and merge-related tasks are managed effectively. Work closely with new starters to drive performance and increase speed to competency through coaching, training, and engagement activities. Actively monitor ticket prioritisation and agent workflow to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage IT tickets within the area, ensuring complaints are prioritised and agents are accepting work correctly.
* Attend working groups regarding merge processes and provide feedback to improve efficiency.
* Train new starters on resolving merge issues using call listening skills, Flyspeed, AS400, and Orbit (repair booking system).
* Coach the team on areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback.
* Hold team huddles to share updates, best practices, and maintain engagement.
* Design, manage, and track personalised incentives for the team, ensuring positive results.
* Conduct quality checks on work to maintain standards and provide feedback for improvement.
* Manage agents’ annual leave bookings throughout the year to ensure adequate coverage and minimal disruption to service.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to support your team effectively.
* Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and collaborate with support functions, such as Merge Support, Data Stewards and Data Platform Support.
