Our client is a highly regarded and growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join its established Property Litigation team based in Exeter. This is a key senior hire, offering excellent scope to influence the direction and continued growth of the department.

The Role
This is a senior position with significant responsibility and flexibility. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property litigation matters, while also playing a central role in the strategic development of the team.
The caseload will include:
* Landlord and tenant disputes
* Lease renewals and terminations
* Dilapidations claims
* Possession proceedings
* Property-related contractual disputes
* Development and boundary disputes
* Agricultural and rural tenancy matters
The team benefits from a steady flow of high-quality work, including internal referrals from property and sector-focused teams, as well as external referrals from agents and professional contacts.
In addition to fee earning, the role will involve:
* Supporting the ongoing growth and strategy of the department
* Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
* Strengthening and developing client and referrer relationships
* Collaborating with other teams across the firm
The Candidate
The firm is keen to hear from:
* Senior Associates ready to step up, or established Partners seeking a new opportunity
* Candidates with ideally 6+ years’ experience in property litigation
* Individuals with strong commercial awareness and excellent client care skills
* Those with a proactive approach to business development and networking
* Candidates with experience or an interest in team leadership and development
A proven track record of leading or mentoring others would be advantageous.
Location & Working Pattern
The role is based in Exeter, with a hybrid working model in place. The team typically works from the office two days per week, with flexibility depending on individual preferences and business needs.
