We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our Housing Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining flats, communal areas, and closes to a high standard. This role requires driving a company van to various housing properties, so a valid driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean void and occupied flats to a high standard
* Clean communal areas including closes, stairwells, landings, and entrances
* Remove litter and dispose of waste appropriately
* Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required
* Report any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
* Drive a company van to travel between properties
* Ensure cleaning schedules are completed within required timeframes
Requirements:
* Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to drive a van confidently and safely
* Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
