About Our Client
My client is a leading global manufacturer.
Job Description
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to oversee the global business operations.
4. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monthly financial forecasts for P&L and balance sheet.
5. Manage the monthly consolidation process and ensure compliance with UK statutory reporting requirements.
6. Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and corporate policies.
7. Partner with the UK corporate office on tax-related matters.
8. Guide and support both internal and external audit activities.
9. Drive enhancements in month-end closing, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and compliance procedures.
10. Contribute to achieving both the short-term and long-term business objectives.
11. Provide assistance with ad-hoc requests from the division or corporate leadership.
The Successful Applicant
12. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
13. Experience in U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance
14. Manufacturing experience with a strong grasp of financial reporting, inventory management, and overhead rates
15. Prior UK controlling experience and team management
16. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are a must
