Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: We are looking for experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles. We need strong understanding of statistical modelling and predictive analytics. We require experience working with customer data and large datasets. We are looking for confident communication of insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Python, with increasing use in our environment, is important. Experience with R is desirable. Experience using Azure and Databricks is desirable. Experience in credit risk, fraud, or financial services is desirable. Responsibilities: We will build and improve predictive models, starting with logistic regression and progressing to more advanced methods. We will work with large customer datasets to support credit risk and onboarding decisions. We will run data QA checks and validate datasets. We will analyse model performance and turn outputs into clear business insights. We will support initiatives across fraud, identity risk, and investigations. Technologies: Azure Databricks Support Machine Learning Python Cloud More: We are hiring a hands-on Data Scientist to join our credit risk and customer analytics project. This is a practical, business-facing data science role where we work with real data, improve models, and influence decision-making. The role is a 12-month contract paying £490/day inside IR35, primarily remote within the UK with occasional visits to Cardiff around once a month.
