Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local area.
* Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest details are accurately recorded.
* Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Also working in Bar and other areas as needed.
* Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available.
* Process reservations and cancellations through the hotel management system.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
* Uphold phone etiquette when answering calls, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
Experience
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Proficiency in phone etiquette to handle incoming calls effectively.
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse guests.
