Overview: Our client, a well-established wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced and proactive IFA Administrator to join their Bristol-based team. This key role provides essential administrative support to their Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and Investment Managers, helping to implement tailored investment and financial planning recommendations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all business submissions, transactions, and documentation are processed accurately and efficiently. This includes supporting the delivery of a seamless and compliant client experience, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to the smooth operation of the firms financial planning function. What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include ~ Paraplanning Support Produce simple suitability letters and non-complex recommendation reports. Support Paraplanners with research collation and document preparation. Ensure all reports and documentation meet regulatory and company standards. New Business Processing Manage new business applications and servicing through to completion. Submit applications, arrange account setup, track transfers, and monitor transaction progress. Handle investment management payments and liaise with clients and providers as necessary. Client and Team Support Maintain accurate records in CRM and document management systems. Coordinate with Planners, Paraplanners, and third-party providers to support efficient workflows. Assist with scheduling client reviews and preparing all relevant materials. Perform peer-checks on colleagues work as required. Support with ad-hoc admin tasks and contribute to process improvement initiatives. What is Needed to Be Considered For This Role: Previous experience in an Advisory or Investment Management firm, ideally in a senior administration capacity. Achieved or working towards CF1, R01, or equivalent qualification. Minimum of A-level education or equivalent; GCSEs in Maths and English at grades AC (or 59). Strong understanding of regulated financial advice and investment management processes. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). High attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and adept at time management. Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel; familiar with CRM and financial planning platforms.
